Vintage Howolite Turquoise #SN121

Length:  Necklace: 24 inches                Pendant: 3  approx. inches                Width: approx. 6 inches

This is a very rare find! Designer necklace with many style beads and a fantastic pendant!                   The necklace is made out of Howolite stone beads. It is often used to duplicate Turquoise. The only difference is that Howolite is white in its natural state. It has no oxidized copper which would turn Howolite blue. Now days it is colored to look exactly like Turquoise. It is a natural stone, but in price it is much less. Many time it is sold as Turquoise…   Howolite is a beautiful white stone that represents the spiritual qualities of stillness, tenderness, and open-mindedness. It is named after Henry How, the scientist who brought this crystal to academic awareness in 1868.                       The pendant is  handmade with real Turquoise and Coral and comes from Central Asia. It is called Hands of Fatimah, which wards off “evil” and brings luck to the person who wears it. You find this lucky symbol in many cultures from East of Italy. The other side of the lucky hand is what they call is “God”s eye. It watches over and saves the wearer from all bad things. So as you see it, I got really inspired from this double symbol, which is very hard to find.

The metal used on the pendant is a silver alloy. The metal beads used on the necklace is non tarnish and non allergenic alloy. ( It has no Lead, Nickel, or Zinc)
