Handmade and hand painted glass beads from Africa make this necklace very unique. The name “Krobo beads” was originated from the location where they are made, at at the Krobo Mountains in Ghana, Africa. Women of local tribes make these beads, sell them and spend the income on education for their children. This necklace is also made out of reddish Sponge Coral, small jade and “Krobo” beads. The pendant is hand wire wrapped with the combination of all the beads used in the necklace. Red Sponge Coral helps with self confidence, regain lost energy, depression. It is also good therapy for eyesight and cancer. The other beads on the necklace were picked for color harmony and tranquility. Pewter Toggle Lock closure.
