This rare Turritella is an ancient stone. It is mined in Wyoming, the only mine in the US. This specimen has beautiful matrix. The small fossilized shells and sea urchins are clearly visible, while the background is a real dark Agate. It took thousands of years for nature to present this beautiful piece. It is my pleasure to share this stone and pendant for your enjoyment. We seldom have the opportunity to work with such beautiful specimen. To frame this stone and make the bail I used sterling silver. Turritella Agate known to stabilize the aura, while believed to be helping emotional healing and it helps in transitions.
