The oyster secretes Nacre to cover a tiny laser cut cross shape. It was placed in the Oyster at the Pearl Farm. The shape is made out of organic materials, like a little piece of grass. The oyster takes about 4-5 years to finish this cross shape of this size. This beautiful Fresh Water Pearl is high quality, has an iridescent luster that shimmers with the light. We get this rare Fresh Water Pearl from an Indonesian Pearl Farm. I was fascinated by the shape and decided to make them into pendants.
